Why This Course Was Created
This course wasn't created from a textbook or because it was the latest trend. It was built from more than 32 years of riding experience, real motorcycle crashes, military emergency management principles and the lessons learned along the way.
Motorcycling has been part of our family for three generations. Jenna still remembers receiving her very first motorbike for Christmas at just four years old. Growing up in a family of riders, weekends were spent exploring the roads together—a tradition that continues today with her parents, husband Ryan and daughter enjoying Sunday rides to the local café.
Like many riding families, we've also experienced the other side of motorcycling. We've dealt with numerous motorcycle injuries, hospital trips, the heartbreaking loss of a close family member in a motorcycle crash, and the frightening reality of crashing alone with no one knowing where help was needed.
This course was designed by Jenna, combining over 32 years of riding and crash experience with her background as an Australian Army veteran, nationally accredited first aid trainer and emergency management professional. Ryan contributes his extensive riding experience, together with his background as a first responder and Workplace Health and Safety professional.
Together, we've created a course that goes beyond standard first aid. Every discussion, demonstration and scenario is based on real situations riders may face—not just what a textbook says.
Our goal is simple: to help riders stay calm, make good decisions and provide effective care until emergency services arrive.
