HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid

Take Your First Aid Skills to the Next Level

When a standard first aid response isn't enough, HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid prepares you to confidently assess, coordinate and manage more complex emergencies.

This nationally recognised course builds on the knowledge gained in Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and is designed for people who may be responsible for leading a first aid response in higher-risk workplaces, sporting events, remote environments or community settings.

At Northern Response Training, we don't just teach theory—we focus on practical, realistic scenarios that build confidence. You'll gain hands-on experience managing serious incidents, making critical decisions under pressure and working effectively as part of an emergency response team.

Whether you're refreshing your skills or stepping into a more advanced first aid role, this course will help prepare you for situations where leadership, communication and sound judgement are just as important as clinical skills.

Why Choose Northern Response Training?

At Northern Response Training, we believe first aid training should prepare people for real emergencies—not simply help them pass an assessment.

Our training is practical, engaging and built around developing confident first aiders who can think clearly under pressure. We encourage discussion, problem solving and realistic hands-on activities that reflect the situations people may encounter in their own workplaces.

As a locally owned South Australian business, we're proud to support organisations across metropolitan and regional communities with high-quality training that is relevant, professional and delivered with genuine care.

Whether your team is based in the city, on a rural property or at an industrial worksite, our goal remains the same—to help people feel prepared to step forward when someone needs their help.
