Learning first aid should be fun!

Our 1-hour Kids First Aid Adventures teach children practical life-saving skills through games, realistic scenarios and themed activities designed especially for primary school-aged children.

Every school holidays brings a brand-new adventure, giving children the opportunity to return, build their confidence and reinforce their first aid skills while enjoying a different theme each time.

What children will learn

Children will learn practical skills including:

• Recognising when someone needs help

• When and how to call 000, including tips to help children explain their location and use a mobile phone in an emergency

• An introduction to DRSABCDAction Plan and basic CPR awareness.

• What and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is, what it sounds like and where they might find one.

• Basic bleeding control and how to safely help until a trusted adult or emergency services arrive

These interactive workshops are designed to give children the confidence to recognise an emergency, stay calm and know how to get help. All first aid information is based on the current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and ANZCOR guidelines.
